Acoustic comfort, technical performance, and sustainability are three of today’s key requirements for office spaces. A visually appealing space is not enough. An office must function effectively, reduce noise, improve well-being, meet technical requirements, and increasingly comply with demanding environmental standards.
It is in this context that Boleado has integrated the Nordgröna brand into its portfolio: as a solid technical solution for partitions and acoustic elements that combine technical performance, design and environmental responsibility.
The real challenge for today’s offices
Flexibility is essential in open spaces, collaborative areas, hybrid zones or informal rooms. Without acoustic control, the quality of the space is compromised, the concentration of employees is affected and, consequently, productivity decreases.
The solution is not to compartmentalize excessively but to define spaces with technical intelligence, using materials that absorb sound, improve the interior environment and add architectural value.
Nordgröna partitions
Nordgröna is produced from Scandinavian lichen(Cladonia stellaris), harvested by hand in Sweden and Norway, with practices that allow for natural regeneration. For office projects, we highlight some of its solutions.
Boulevard
A versatile partition with a metal structure, filled with moss on both sides. It allows you to create zones within the space, maintaining visual fluidity and significantly improving sound absorption.
- High acoustic efficiency due to the porous and soft structure of the moss
- Fire resistance (thanks to the preservation process with sea salts)
- Compliance with high VOC emission standards
- Maintenance-free product, requires no watering and repels dust
It is a particularly effective solution for open spaces, coworking spaces, waiting areas and collaborative areas.

Glade, Field and Convex
These solutions make it possible to create vertical or suspended panels with a strong aesthetic component, while maintaining acoustic performance.
- Field: large rectangular panel with metal frame

- Glade: versatile solution, can be suspended or wall-mounted

- Convex: geometric panels that allow for dynamic compositions

They all contribute to reducing ambient noise and improving thermal and sensory comfort, without forgetting the visual identity of the space.
Sustainability applied to architecture
Nordgröna works with regenerated and recycled materials, taking care to reduce waste and optimize logistics.
Moss can be harvested up to 20% every 5-6 years without compromising the ecosystem. The products are durable, designed for longevity and reuse. We are therefore talking about solutions that contribute to improving the indoor environment in projects with demanding environmental criteria.
Technical complementarity: wood and cork
For projects that require greater material diversity, Nordgröna also offers Flora and Saga.
Flora
For projects that require a more expressive material presence, the Flora – Clearcut-Free Timber collection introduces a system of solid wood slats from forestry without clear-cutting. This approach preserves the biodiversity of the forest and allows a raw material with a responsible origin and environmental impact to be incorporated into the project. From a technical point of view, Flora can achieve a Class A acoustic rating when applied with suitable backing , making an effective contribution to noise control in meeting rooms, reception areas or representative areas.

Saga and Saga Framed
Saga and Saga Framed explore the potential of cork as a technical and sustainable material. Produced from granulate resulting from the wine industry, this solution ensures that no resources are wasted.
Naturally fire-resistant, with good acoustic absorption capacity and no need for maintenance, cork offers consistent performance combined with a contemporary Scandinavian expression. With FSC® or PEFC certified raw materials and a strong component of circularity, these solutions are particularly suitable for offices seeking a balance between technical performance, architectural identity and environmental responsibility.

Offices that work
Acoustic comfort is a structural factor in the quality of workspaces. Partitions such as the Boulevard, Glade or Field collections are technical tools for building more balanced, quiet and sustainable environments.
We understand that each office has its own requirements, whether it’s a corporate headquarters, a flexible space, an industrial environment or a hybrid model. Our commitment is to ensure that each solution meets technical requirements, meets environmental criteria and makes a concrete contribution to improving the quality of the space, always with proximity, rigor and technical confidence.
If you’re developing an office project and want to evaluate solutions that combine performance, design and sustainability applied to architecture, we’ll be happy to analyze it with you.
